I joined Cartsys in May 2024 as a front-end developer after being contacted by a recruiter, and worked there through December of the same year.

Cartsys builds a SaaS product for Brazilian notary offices (cartórios). The core goal of the engagement was ambitious: unify several legacy Delphi desktop applications into a single modern web product that the same users could actually adopt.

Alongside the rest of the front-end team, I helped shape the core front-end architecture — picking a data-fetching approach, laying out the component structure, and driving performance and UX improvements as the product came together.

I moved on at the end of 2024 when a new opportunity came up at Codeminer. The front-end team at Cartsys was a sharp, high-caliber group, and modernizing a desktop workflow for the web was a genuinely interesting problem to work on.
